ASHLEY COULSON is a Toronto-based professional dancer, actress, choreographer, and educator. She began dancing at the age of 4 and has since trained in a wide range of styles, including Contemporary, Jazz, Ballet/Pointe, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Tap, Modern, and Ballroom.
Throughout her career, Ashley has had the privilege of working with some of the most respected names in the dance industry, including Mia Michaels, Stacey Tookey, Evelyn Hart, Garrett Smith, Tiler Peck, Jennifer Nichols, and Tiffany McLachlan to name a few.
A seasoned performer both on stage and on screen, Ashley’s career spans across various live performances and TV/film productions. While her recent focus is on dance and acting in television and film, her stage experience includes performances across Canada, Los Angeles, New York City, and Europe. She has worked for prestigious companies such as Disney, Universal Studios, and the Canadian Opera Company. Some of her performance credits include Gadfly’s UNBXBL II, Hit The Floor Gatineau, Dance Ontario, Signature Dance Inc.’s Escapade, and numerous events with Fever After Darkand Toronto’s Original Choreographer’s Ball. Ashley has also worked with acclaimed artists like Jessie Reyez, Francesco Yates, Ria Mae, Blake McGrath, Alx Veliz, Leila Milki, Jon Vinyl, and NIIVA.
In addition to her live performances, Ashley has appeared in various TV and film productions for top companies such as Netflix, Paramount+, Family Channel, Rhombus Media, Sony Music, and DHX Media. Notably, she was featured in CBS’s Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (Season 2), Netflix’s Tiny Pretty Things (where she played Gwen), and Family Channel’s The Next Step. She recently worked on a new TV series ‘Cruel Intentions’ with Sony Pictures Television.
Ashley’s passion for teaching is evident in her dedication to nurturing and inspiring the next generation of dancers. She is excited to share her knowledge and experience with the dancers at Impact Dance Challenge.
