Make An Impact: Challenge Yourself

Venue & Hotel Information 

Impact Dance Challenge events are held in spacious hotel ballrooms or convention centres to ensure a comfortable and elevated experience for dancers and families. 

Please visit the venue website for additional information. 

Impact partners with the event hotel to offer room blocks for our attendees. These often sell out quickly, so we recommend booking early. Hotel details can be found on our Event Page. 

What’s Included:

• Morning Warm-Up & Improv 
• Six 1-hour classes with industry professionals (Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Latin/Ballroom, Hip Hop, Contemporary) 
• 30-minute Yoga Class to conclude the day 
• Styles may be subject to change. 

All studios and independent dancers are welcome. All registered dancers are eligible for scholarships presented during closing ceremonies. 

A signed waiver is required for all participating dancers. 

Safety & Security 

• Dancers under 18 must remain with a parent, guardian, or studio representative. 
• Dancers should not leave the venue without checking in with an adult. 
• Venue security and Impact staff will be present to assist where needed. 
• Impact Dance Challenge is not responsible for lost or stolen items. 

Food & Drink 

Food options vary by venue; some may offer concessions while others may not. We encourage dancers to bring water and light snacks. 

Outside food and beverage policies depend on the venue and may be restricted. 

Observers & Teachers

• Observers must attend with a registered dancer. 
• Observer wristbands allow entry into designated convention rooms. 
• Teachers Pass available for teachers (20+) from registered studios. 

Complimentary Passes 

• Studio Owners receive one complimentary observer pass. 
• 10 dancers: 1 complimentary teacher pass + Studio Owner 
• 10–20 dancers: 2 passes + Studio Owner 
• 21–40 dancers: 3 passes + Studio Owner 
• 41–50 dancers: 4 passes + Studio Owner 
• 50+ dancers: 5 passes + Studio Owner 

Please keep noise to a minimum and ensure wristbands are visible at all times. 

Schedules & Confirmation 

A finalized schedule will be emailed one week prior to the event. 

Faculty may change if necessary; replacements will be of equal professional caliber. 

Scholarships 

Scholarships are awarded in each class by faculty members. 

Awards may be given in Tap, Jazz, Latin, Hip Hop, Ballet, Contemporary, etc., across the Mini, Junior, Intermediate, and Senior levels. 

Scholarship quantity varies per event. 

Dancers may receive one scholarship per season. 

Scholarships cannot be combined with promotions or special pricing. 

Scholarships have no cash value and are non-transferable. 

Scholarship Types 

• Full Scholarship: 100% of dancer tuition (regular price; no admin fees) 
• Half Scholarship: 50% of dancer tuition
• Partial Scholarship: 25% of dancer tuition 

Scholarship Policy 

Scholarships are valid only for the season they are awarded. 

If a dancer registers using a scholarship and later cancels (initiated by the attendee), the scholarship is considered used and cannot be transferred or applied to another event. 

Refund Policy 

No refunds are permitted for any convention, workshop, or observer fees.
