Prepare for the upcoming competitive season with Impact Dance Challenge’s Live Critique, a unique, non-competitive opportunity designed to help dancers refine their SOLO, DUET, or TRIO routines in a supportive, studio-style environment. 

Dancers will perform their routines on stage for a panel of professional adjudicators, receiving live, constructive feedback to strengthen their technique, performance quality, and overall readiness for competition. 

WHAT'S INCLUDED 

• Live, on-stage critique with two professional adjudicators 
• Two 1-hour workshop classes with dance faculty (observer bands required for workshop entry) 
• Complimentary teacher/parent observer access to the Live Critique performance room 
• Front-row seating for parents/teachers to view and record their dancer’s critique 
• Scholarships, certificates, and Impact prizes awarded 

MUSIC REQUIREMENTS 

• Upload music one week prior to event 
• Clearly label music with dancer name and song title 
• Bring a backup USB 
• Maximum music length: 3 minutes 

SCHOLARSHIP CODES 

Scholarships from previous events may be used one time per dancer only. Email a copy to confirm eligibility.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION 

Workshop registration is included and mandatory for all Live Critique dancers. Workshop classes are open to non-performing dancers (tickets available online or at the door). Observer bands required for all parents/guardians attending workshop classes. This event is not live streamed. 

OBSERVERS 

• Observer wristbands not required for Live Critique audience or ceremonies • Observers must attend with a registered dancer 
• Noise must be kept to a minimum 
• Observer wristbands required for workshop classes and must remain visible 

CONFIRMATIONS 

Schedules are emailed one week prior to the event. 

Judges may be subject to change. 

SCHOLARSHIPS 

• Awarded in each class by adjudicators 
• One scholarship per dancer per season 
• Cannot be combined with discounts or special pricing 
• Non-transferable, no cash value 

SCHOLARSHIP TYPES 

Full Scholarship: Covers 100% tuition (regular price) 

Half Scholarship: Covers 50% tuition 

Partial Scholarship: Covers 25% tuition 

IMPORTANT SCHOLARSHIP POLICY 

Scholarships must be used before the expiration date on the voucher and cannot be extended.

STAGE FLOORING 

Adagio flooring by Rosco is used for all styles and offers a safe, controlled-slip surface. 

REFUND POLICY 

No refunds for workshops or Live Critique events. No refunds or credits due to weather or traffic delays. All registrants must sign a waiver to participate.
